Setting Up Big Combos
Before making a match, check if clearing those blocks causes adjacent same-colored blocks to fall into position. A well-planned first match can trigger a chain of three or four additional clears.
Dealing with Stone Blocks
Stone blocks cannot be cleared directly. Match blocks next to them to chip away at stone. Focus matches adjacent to stone until it breaks.
Ice Layers
Blocks trapped in ice need two matches to free: the first breaks the ice, the second clears the block. Plan around this delay when setting up combos.
